Michael Symon
Michael D. Symon was born on September 19, 1969 in Cleveland, Ohio. She is of Greek, Italian, and Eastern European descent.

He has grown up in North Olmsted, Ohio. He studied at the St. Richard School. She continued at the St. Edward High School in Lakewood. She graduated from school in the 1987. Three years later he graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
His first experience was at the Geppetto's Pizza and Ribs on Warren Rd., where he worked as a cook.
Later he worked at “Player's” which is a Mediterranean restaurant in Lakewood on the Cleveland restaurant scene.

In the 1993 he becomes a chef and moved to Piccolo Mondo. He got a place at the Caxton Café. In the 1997 he opened his own family restaurant Lola along with his girlfriend Liz. They had several years of success and in the 2000 their project was named one of America's Best Restaurants in “Gourmet” magazine.
They decided to entit
